The Chain of Custody and its reduction potentials are causing a large shift within the agri-food sector. Primary data collection throughout the entire supply chain is increasing, leading to updated LCA’s and SBTi’s Scope 3 reductions. However, there is a lot of discussion on the validity and the robustness of some of the Chain of Custody models. At Mérieux NutriSciences | Blonk, together with retail, we have developed an approach which is pragmatic but also robust.
